01

The short version

Everything you enter stays on your device. We can't see it, and neither can anyone else.

02

What the app collects

Nothing. Wen has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third-party SDKs.

The app's privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking, and that manifest is checked against the source code.

03

The one network request

The app checks for a newer copy of its metro catalogue: the published home values, rents, tax rates and mortgage averages. That's a single download of a static file, at most once a day when you open the app and occasionally in the background when iOS allows it.

The request carries no account, no identifier, no cookie and none of your numbers; it can't, because the app has none of those to send.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) sees the request the way any web server sees a visit and may keep your IP address in its standard access logs for a short time. We don't read those logs and we run no analytics on them.

Settings, Data updates, “Check for updates automatically” turns the automatic checks off. After that the app connects only when you tap “Check for updates now” yourself.

04

Where your data lives

Your scenarios (income, assets, plans, notes) are stored as files in the app's private container on your device. They are included in your normal device backup, iCloud or local, per your own device settings. That's Apple's backup, under your control, not something we operate.

Deleting the app deletes the data. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to retain and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

05

Sharing and export

Nothing leaves the device unless you explicitly export it: the PDF report and the JSON export are generated locally and handed to the iOS share sheet, where you decide where they go.

06

Purchases

The one-time purchase is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

07

Children

The app is rated 4+ but is a financial planning tool intended for adults. It collects no data from anyone, children included.

08

Your rights and how to use them

Because the app collects nothing, there is no profile to see, correct, export or delete. Your own copy is on your device: Settings exports it as JSON, and deleting the app removes it.

If you've emailed us, write to the support address and we'll tell you what that thread holds and delete it on request.

09

Changes

If a future version changes any of the above, this policy and the app's privacy manifest and App Store privacy label will change with it, before the version ships. Old versions stay listed below.
